The Challenge:

Access Engineering entrusted Lifesecglobal with the crucial task of designing a robust fire detection and suppression system for their expansive 48,000 square meter warehouse in Sri Lanka. With a towering roof height of 21 meters and the warehouse primarily utilized for storing materials, ensuring the safety of the facility and its occupants was paramount.

Our Solution:

Leveraging our expertise as fire safety consultants, we meticulously devised a tailored solution to meet Access Engineering’s specific needs. We proposed the installation of an Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) sprinkler system, complemented by a reliable fire detection network and strategically positioned hydrants.

The ESFR sprinkler system, renowned for its swift and effective fire suppression capabilities, was deemed ideal for safeguarding Access Engineering’s warehouse. Its high discharge rate and specialized design make it particularly efficient in controlling fires involving high-piled storage, a common scenario in warehouse settings.
